Our Story
Est. 1919, the Standing Family has been raising cattle in Alberta's Special Areas Grasslands for four generations.... and the fifth has hit the ground running. A mixed grain and cattle operation, we are committed to our caring for our land and preserving our heritage.
Our family grew up on beef finished on homegrown barley. We want your kids to grow up that way too.
From our pastures to your table, our beef are born on our farm and live here their entire life. We feed natural forages like native grass pasture, hay, greenfeed and homegrown barley.
We want you to know that your beef was raised on a farm that cares about humane handling and natural living conditions. We want you to eat beef that was processed and hand crafted by artisan meat cutters at a fully licensed, innovative and low stress facility. We want you to eat dry aged beef that is finished to a level of marbled perfection that is hard to come by anymore.
